While recording test results, technicians can flag any value as Review, Repair, or Urgent Repair. Once the testing job is complete, FieldTestPro automatically creates an Issue for each flagged result and records an Incident tied to that issue—capturing exactly when, where, and how the problem was identified.

When future tests are performed, FieldTestPro doesn’t start from scratch. If the same field is flagged again, the system links it to the existing issue and adds a new incident, creating a clear historical record of recurring or unresolved problems.

How it works

A technician flags an equipment test value as Urgent Repair during testing.
When the job is completed:

  • FieldTestPro automatically creates an Issue for that transformer.
  • An Incident is logged showing the date, test type, value, and severity.

Over the next year:

  • The same value is flagged twice more
  • Each occurrence is added as a new incident under the same issue

Technicians, managers, sales teams and customers can now see:

  • How often it has recurred
